2011: Kiesel Abbruch- und Recycling Technik

Hitachi ZX870 XXL Demolition

Kiesel continuous to grow

Taking over sales for Terex Fuchs in Slovakia and the Czech Republic enabled Kiesel to further strengthen its market position in the handling segment. Kiesel also merged with Berobau in the North of Germany and grew to a total of 30 branches in Germany.

2008: Kiesel europe-wide

Kiesel Firmenzentrale Baienfurt

Kiesel operates in 28 branches across Germany as well as 20 sales and cooperation partners, 9 European partners with exclusive trading rights and employ around 550 employees. With their strong focus on comprehensive service and tailored products Kiesel offers their customers significant competitive advantage.

2007: Exclusive Partner of Terex Fuchs

Kiesel moves into their newly build service centre in Baienfurt. In the north of Germany, Kiesel merges with Koops Company and its branches in Hamburg and Bremen. Terex Fuchs agreed with Kiesel on an exclusive partnership for the German market. Hitachi hands over the exclusive trading rights for construction maschinery to Kiesel. Following this, Kiesel implements the Compactline partner network.

2006: Exclusive Partner of Hitachi

Kiesel becomes the premium partner for Hitachi in Germany. Subsequently, Kiesel merges with the company Ungheuer in the south-west as well as with the company Preissler in the north-west of Germany. Hence, Kiesel's network of corporation partners for Hitachi distributors condenses throughout Germany. Also the branch Würzburg is built in Thüngersheim.

2005: Technics & Service as main focus

In order to be able to offer competent advice prior as well as post purchase, the department "Technik/Service" was founded. Moving from Rodgau to Stockstadt the Kiesel Co. GmbH becomes the center of competency. Kiesel West is established as centre of competency in Köln-Hürth and in Bremen a new branch is founded.

2004: Kiesel at the Bauma

For the first time Kiesel presents together with Genesis their stand on the Bauma. The branch Baden-West is opened in Herboldzheim and the company Häfele München is integrated into the Kiesel group. The Hitachi distribution is partly extended to eastern Germany as well as Hamburg and Schleswig-Holstein.

2003: Central Distribution of Hitachi in the South of Germany

Hitachi transcribes their central distribution for the South of Germany to Kiesel. The Kiesel & Co. GmbH located in Rodgau takes over the Fuchs/Schaeff dealers BHS in Stuttgart and Potratz in Frankfurt thus extending their Schaeff distribution area.

2002: Kiesel - better handling

With its slogan "better handling" Kiesel services comprehensive consultation and solutions tailored specifically to their customers. Kiesel Austria GmbH in Leoberdrof, Austria as well as Kiesel Nord GmbH in Hamburg were founded. Kiesel takes over the distribution of Fuchs in the areas of Mittel- und Oberfranken, Oberpfalz, Ober- und Niederbayern.

2001: Exclusive Partner in Scandinavia

Kiesel becomes the exclusive distributor of Fuchs for all of Scandinavia and takes on the representation of Mantsinen, Genesis as well as Baljer & Zembrod. In the same year Kiesel opens the branch Erfurt serving Thüringen.

1995/96: Expanion to Scandinavia

In Germany, new workshop and administration buildings are build in Landsberg. Kiesel takes over the representation of Fuchs-Maschine in Norway with the installment of a base for service and spare parts in Oslo, the following year Kiesel also takes over distribution in Sweden.

1990/91: Kiesel expands

The administrative and storage buildings in Baienfurt near Ravensburg are expanded once more. A year later Kiesel expands into the new Bundesländer with a branch in Landsberg near Halle in order to serve customers from Sachsen and Sachsen-Anhalt directly. About three years later, the branch Dresden is build in order to serve Ost-Sachsen.

80ies : Entry of the Second Generation

The three sons, Jochen, Rainer and Toni Kiesel enter the company and open new markets through new ideas and an expansion focused company policy. Focus was laid upon the trade with new and used machines of established brands, the rental of construction machines as well as a complete service offer. The number of employees was raised to about 100.

1970: Relocating again

The success of the company Kiesel required an expansion of their premises. After the move to a 15.000 m² bigger base in Baienfurt near Ravensburg the 10 employees now had enough space to operate.

1960: Moving into the new base in Baienfurt

The company and its 5 employees move into the new build base with around 300 m² of workshop and office space. The steel construction for the new workshop was assembled using a Fuchs D3. The first premise was initially used to sell Fuchs excavator, till the sale of new machines could begin.

1957: Founding a Fuchs Service Station

With the end of the 50ies in a formerly agricultural property in Weingarten near Ravensburg Helmut Kiesel lays down the foundation for a success story: After his occupation as a Fuchs technician he founded a Fuchs Service station and dared stepping into autonomy accompanied by his wife Christa.
